Vacation leave is at rate

of1/8th resident service,. Free passages

for officer and family granted after

four years re si dent service or proportionately

reduced grant is allowed after shorter

period.

In event of acceptance

MacGregor should proceed direct to

Hong kong, receiving free passages

for self and wife cost to be recovered

from Hong Kong. Suggest he should be

granted leave earned by resident service.

Any period between expiration of such

leave and date of arrival in Hong Kong

will be at half Hong Kong salary.
